Role Description

The Royal Family is a combination of the Beloved Prince and a Baddie Team. They can be difficult to kill off, because when one is executed another player who voted for them dies as well.

Role Powers

  • Each member of the Royal family has their own ability they can use. The higher the team member's rank within the team, the stronger the ability, with the highest rank controlling nightkills.
  • If a member of the Royal Family is killed by execution, the first player to vote for them will die.
  • When a Royal Family member dies, the next nighest ranking member is promoted to that position, the same is then done for that person, and all down the line. Upon promotion the player gets control of their new position's power and loses their old one.

Alternatives

  • The names of the roles and the hierarchy will likely change from game to game.
  • When a Royal Family member dies, it may be a random player who voted for them who dies.
  • The Royal Family may get a conversion, the converted player would start with the lowest rank possible.
  • The Royal Family may get to choose who gets which rank, to ensure that an inactive player does not get the King.

Royal Family
Alignment: Evil, Royal Family
Win Condition: All non-Royal Family players defeated
Teammates: _____ (King), _____ (Queen), _____ (Prince), _____ (Princess)

Kill: Each night the Royal King can behead another player. Send a list of 5 players you'd like to kill, you'll shoot the topmost living player on the list.

Daykill: Once during the game the Royal Queen may kill another player during the day. Send a list of 5 people you'd like to daykill, the topmost living player will be killed shortly after the PM is received.

Protection: Once during the game the Royal Prince can decide to protect all members of the team from all death for the rest of the day/night cycle. Send a PM when you want to use this; you'll be protected from all death until the end of night.

Execution: If any member of the Royal Family is killed by execution (with a majority vote), and random person to vote for that member will kill themself. This cannot target other Royal Family members.

Promotion: Upon the death of a Royal Family member all lower ranked member shuffle up a position (and take control of that position's power) until the lowest position is the one vacant. If a single-use power has been used, it cannot be used again by a different player.
