Role Description
The Psychologist is a very specialized dreamer, dreaming for only one (though sometimes more) roles in an entire game: the Serial Killer. The Psychologist's point in the game is to find the Serial Killer, before the Serial Killer finds them. The first player to find the other converts the other to their team, so upon dreaming of the Serial Killer, they lose their role and become a Plain Innocent.
Role Powers
- The Psychologist can dream to try and find the Serial Killer. If they do, the Serial Killer is converted to a Plain Innocent.
Alternatives
- The Psychologist may also be able to prevent the Serial Killer from killing at all during a night a limited number of times during the game.
- The Psychologist may have a separate protection ability; they can protect one player at night from the Serial Killer
- A Mental Patient may be included in the game. In this case, the Psychologist would be able to convert the Mental Patient and not the Serial Killer. Upon dreaming the Serial Killer, the Serial Killer might automatically die.
Notes
- Should the Psychologist be attacked (or in some cases dreamt) by the Serial Killer, they will be converted to the Serial Killer's team and will inherit that role upon the Serial Killer's death.
