Name Checker

Role Description

Rather than dreaming normally, to find an alignment, the Name Checker can check to see if the role name claimed by other players is the role name they actually possess. This can be a very powerful role depending on its use and the game it's in, so take care balancing.

Role Powers

• The Name Checker lists a player (or multiple if they send in a list) and puts a role name next to that player. The name checker will be told if that is their role name.

Alternatives

• The Name Checker may only be able to use their power a limited number of times.
• The Name Checker must roletrade with the person they're attempting to check before being allowed to do so (honour system, but enforceable in a way)
• The Name Checker sends in a list, rather than just one person, and attaches a different (or same) name to each player
• The Name Checker may only be able to check what's been posted on the Game Thread. This would make role a variation on the Lie Detector, and somewhat less powerful.
