Messenger
Role Description
The Medium is much like the Messenger; they both send messages. The Medium, however, sends and receives messages from players who are dead. With this ability they are able to circumvent the "no revealing information not posted on the game thread" rule imposed on dead players.
Role Powers
- The Medium can send a message of their writing to a dead player through the Host. The Medium is not identified as the one who sent the message. The player the message is sent to gets a chance to respond.
Alternatives
- The number of messages the Medium can send may be limited.
- The Medium may be able to post a message on the game thread (through the Host) a limited number of times.
- The messages a Medium sends may have a length limit, eg. they can't be longer than 250 words.
- When sending a message to another player, the response would have a length limit as well.
- The player writing the response might not be notified of the length limit.
- When sending a message to another player, the response would have a length limit as well.
