Inventor

Role Description

The Inventor gives out items they have, the items sometimes corresponding to Special Powers, sometimes being effects that activate automatically. The Inventor usually doesn't know what the items do.

Role Powers

  • The inventor has a number of items they can give out to other players as Special Powers. The Inventor can send one item each day to another players.
    • The Inventor may not give themselves a power
    • The Inventor may not give two powers to the same person consecutively

Alternatives

  • The items an Inventor gives may activate automatically instead of being treated as Special Powers. This can lead to quite different results (a daykill would kill the person it's sent to instead of giving the person a daykill SP).
  • The Inventor may know what effects the items he has have.
  • The Inventor may be given one power a day which they must give out that day.
  • The Inventor may give out items as a night action instead of during the day.
  • The Inventor may have a set of materials which they must first combine, the results being what the Inventor sends to people.
    • The role is usually called the Alchemist in this case.
  • The amount of each item the Inventor has to give out is often limited.
    • The Inventor usually has more of the less powerful items than they do the more powerful ones. This can give the Inventor a vague idea of what each item is (or at least how powerful it is).
