Hunter

Role Description

The Hunter attaches itself to a player and just before its own death, it strikes and kills the victim. Under some circumstances, it may realise the target is innocent and not harm a good guy.

Role Powers

  • The Hunter chooses a player
  • If the hunter is killed at night, one of the following happens:
    • If the chosen target is evil, they are killed with the Hunter
    • If the chosen target is innocent, they are not harmed
  • If the hunter is killed at execution the chosen target is killed with the Hunter, regardless of alignment
  • The Hunter may repick their target as many times as they want at any point in the game
  • If the Hunter is day-killed, the chosen target does not die with them

Alternatives

  • The Hunter may kill an innocent even if they die at night
  • The Hunter may never kill an innocent, even at execution
  • If an innocent kills the Hunter, only an innocent can be killed by the Hunter. If a baddie kills the Hunter, only a baddie can be killed by the Hunter
  • The chosen target may die if the Hunter is day-killed
  • The Hunter may only be able to change targets a select amount of times

Sample Role

Hunter
Alignment: Innocent
Win Condition: All Evil players defeated

Hunt: PM a player's name. If you die at execution, this player will be killed along with you. If you are killed at night, the player will only be killed if they are evil. If you are killed during the day, the player will not be killed.

New Hunt: At any time during the game, you may choose a new target to replace the old one. You can do this as many times as you wish.
