Role Description
The Beater is a protecting role that can also reflect the attacks back on the attacker, but there's usually some other condition for this to happen. There can be many different takes on the Beater, the version used being totally up to the Host.

Role Powers
- The Beater can protect one person from death each night, but not themself.
- If the protected player is targeted by an attack, the attack is reflected back at the attacker.

Alternatives
- The attack may be reflected toward a random player, killing them.
- The attack may be reflected back at the attacker, disabling their role for the following day/night cycle.
- The attack may be reflected toward a random player, disabling their role for the following day/night cycle.
- The beater misses and the attack goes through normally.
- Any combination or all of the above, each with a percent chance of happening.
- The Beater may only protect and reflect for a specific baddie team.
- The Beater may protect against any baddies, but can only reflect against one team they choose each night.
- The reflection only has a 33-50% chance of success.
